SNOW and Resolutions...

I am the first to admit I am a blogging slacker! It's been over a month since I've blogged! So much has happened. Christmas was fabulous! I have some great pictures of the kiddos to share. Santa was very very good to them! New Year's Eve was so much fun. No pictures to post of that...they could be dangerous! (lol) Anywho, it's snowing here and it's so beautiful! I feel like I'm inside a snow globe and I love it! Almost makes me wish we lived somewhere where it snowed often, like Colorado or Vermont...so pretty.!!!

Okay, so next subject. Resolutions. I hear lots of people saying that they think they are a waste of time...I disagree. I think Louisa May Alcott said it best, "Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead." Resolutions to me are a sign to me that we still have something to aspire for...something greater. With that being said I'm going to give you my resolutions.

1) Start a gratuity journal.
I think sometimes I lose sight of how blessed I truly am. I plan on using this to remind myself.

2) Continue my quest to become healthy.
I began this quest last June and have become addicted to the gym! I LOVE the gym and I LOVE
working out! I feel like I am missing something on the days that I don't do some exercise.

3) Yell less and count to ten more.
Being a single Mom is stressful. I am the first to admit I raise my voice too often.

4) Do some things to make me happy.
     Pretty self explanatory.

5) Learn to use Photoshop.
I received Photoshop for Christmas now I need a book to learn how to use it...it's a lot more
complicated than I thought it would be.

I'll keep you posted on how the resolutions go.

  1. I learned everything I knew up until the summer of this year all by myself. It does take some time but once you get a hold of it, there are so many things you can do! I took a photoshop class at Estrella CC here in AZ, and it taught me some things I didn't know and some that I already knew. But, it was still tons of fun! I highly recommend taking a college class to learn it! Will help a ton far faster than I have learned it.

  2. Thanks Casey for the suggestion! Photoshop is COMPLICATED to say the least! I've found lots of photo editors that are wayyyyy more user friendly! I'd still like to take a photography class though.
